Piercing Aftercare Instructions

BEFORE

1.Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent and present valid ID.

2.We do not perform piercings on clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

3.Please inform us if you have any travel plans shortly after your piercing.

4.Kindly notify your piercer of any medications you are currently taking.

DURING

1 Mild bleeding and bruising may occur in the pierced area following the procedure.

2. During the healing process, itching and a whitish-yellow fluid that may form crust around the piercing can occur.

3. Redness, swelling, and sensitivity may be experienced from time to time.

4. If the jewelry is removed for an extended period before the piercing is fully healed, the hole may narrow or close completely in a short time. This may vary from person to person.

5. A piercing may appear healed on the surface; however, the skin heals from the outside first, and deeper tissues take longer to recover. We recommend being patient and continuing the suggested aftercare and cleaning routine throughout the entire healing process. We also advise staying in contact with your piercer during this time.

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

1.Do not shower for at least 24 hours.

2.Wash your hands with antibacterial soap before touching or cleaning your piercing.

3. For 2 months, gently clean the front and back of the piercing 2–3 times daily using a clean cotton swab soaked in saline solution
(sterile gauze may also be used).

4. Do not change or remove your jewelry until the healing process is complete; continue regular care and cleaning.5. Use a clean pillowcase during the first few weeks and change it every few days.6. Using a travel pillow during the early healing period can help prevent pressure on the piercing while sleeping.7. After each shower, use a hairdryer (on a cool setting) to ensure the piercing and surrounding skin are completely dry.8. Do not use ointments, alcohol, or similar products on the piercing.9. Avoid touching, playing with, hitting, squeezing, or sleeping on your piercing.10. Avoid swimming, jacuzzi, tanning beds, or sunbeds during the first few weeks.11.
